During her time in the media, Tamara was often beseiged by the press. If you ask her she will tell you the most frightening moment was the day she launched her Lord Mayoral Campaign in King George Square outside the Town Hall. Date was June 1999, and she still has nightmares of the microphones being shoved in her face as the questions were being fired off.
Her second most frightening moment was her arrival at the Tally Room for the State Election 2001, where the entertainment centre almost tilted on its axis as the press ran to her as she arrived. A vision splendid to quote one ABC reporter.
